The mirrored reflection of the fireworks off the lake and the rumbled sounds that echo off the mountains are truly spectacular. \nCelebrate the birth of our country from some of the best vantage points in Western North Carolina –viewing areas for fireworks include the Lake Lure Beach\, Morse Park\, the Arcade Plaza (located across from the beach)\, other nearby areas … or on the lake itself. \nDetails on Lake Lure Fireworks:\n  \n \n\n\n \nSchedule:\nFood Trucks will be open by Noon.  Food Trucks will be set up in Morse Park from Noon until after the fireworks featuring a variety of carnival concessions including Fresh Squeezed Lemonade\, Snow Cones\, Fried Pies\, Steak Sandwiches\, Corn Dogs\, Boiled Peanuts\, Roasted Peanuts\, Kettle Corn  Cheesecake Covered in Chocolate\, Cheesecake and Soft Pretzels. \nThe Beach will close at 6 p.m. and re-open free to the public at 8 pm for viewing the Fireworks. \nFireworks begin just after sunset on July 3rd. \n\nOther Activities:\nWe have a full week of activities all over the Gorge including two fireworks shows: \nThe July 3rd event is free and open to the public (information is above). \nThen\, Rumbling Bald Resort also has a Fireworks event on 7/4 for guests of the Resort only. However\, both shows are very easy to see by boat from the lake.

DESCRIPTION:The Annual SpringGo Fest on the 2nd Saturday in May begins with a Pancake Breakfast from 7-10am at the Chimney Rock Volunteer Firehouse. The cows (producers of cow pie for the Cow Pie Bingo Raffle!)\, will make their way to the bingo field next to the Gathering Place at 9am – 2pm. The winner will be determined at 2pm\, but you don’t have to be present to win. \n \nStake out your spot to view the SpringGo parade that is scheduled to come through the Village at 11:00am. \nLater that afternoon\, you’ll want to wash the paint off your hands\, pack your cooler with your favorite libation\, grab your chairs and doll up a little.
