Annual Lake Lure Olympiad Sports Festival
August 9, 2019 - August 11, 2019
The Lake Lure Olympiad is anchored by a USAT sanctioned Lake Lure Triathlon which is part of the “3 Races in 3 Days Challenge”. The 10k Dam Run on Friday, the triathlon (swim, bike, run) on Saturday and the Race to the Rocks on Sunday.

The Lake Lure Olympiad is a summer sports festival for all ages and abilities. Since its inception in 2005, this local charity event has raised over $250,000+ for area charities by bringing people together in the spirit of friendly competition to promote health and wellness awareness and community well-being.
The three-day event is hosted by Rumbling Bald Resort at Lake Lure and Chimney Rock at Chimney Rock State Park and is an event not to be missed whether you’re an athlete or a spectator. The Lake Lure surroundings are beautiful and make for an amazing race environment.
