Join in this magical Independence Day celebration on July 3rd inside Morse Park Meadows and Lake Lure Beach as fireworks are cast over beautiful Lake Lure. The mirrored reflection of the fireworks off the lake and the rumbled sounds that echo off the mountains are truly spectacular.
Celebrate the birth of our country from some of the best vantage points in Western North Carolina –viewing areas for fireworks include the Lake Lure Beach, Morse Park, the Arcade Plaza (located across from the beach), other nearby areas … or on the lake itself.
Food Trucks will be open by Noon. Food Trucks will be set up in Morse Park from Noon until after the fireworks featuring a variety of carnival concessions including Fresh Squeezed Lemonade, Snow Cones, Fried Pies, Steak Sandwiches, Corn Dogs, Boiled Peanuts, Roasted Peanuts, Kettle Corn Cheesecake Covered in Chocolate, Cheesecake and Soft Pretzels.
The Beach will close at 6 p.m. and re-open free to the public at 8 pm for viewing the Fireworks.
Fireworks begin just after sunset on July 3rd.

Then, Rumbling Bald Resort also has a Fireworks event on 7/4 for guests of the Resort only. However, both shows are very easy to see by boat from the lake.
