Lake Lure Fireworks Celebration on July 3rd
July 3 @ 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Enjoy fireworks over Lake Lure on July 3rd.
Join in this magical Independence Day celebration on July 3rd inside Morse Park Meadows as fireworks are cast over beautiful Lake Lure. The mirrored reflection of the fireworks off the lake and the rumbled sounds that echo off the mountains are truly spectacular.
Celebrate the birth of our country from some of the best vantage points in Western North Carolina –viewing areas for fireworks include the Lake Lure Beach, Morse Park, the Arcade Plaza (located across from the beach), other nearby areas … or on the lake itself.
Details on Lake Lure Fireworks:
The family-friendly celebration starts at 5 p.m. and is open to the public. Fireworks begin around 9 p.m. The Beach will close at 6 p.m. and re-open free to the public at 8 pm for viewing the Fireworks.
We have a full week of activities all over the Gorge, including TWO fireworks shows.
The July 3rd event is free and open to the public (information is above). Then, Rumbling Bald Resort also has a Fireworks event for guests of the Resort. However, both shows are very easy to see from the lake. Boat rentals are available through Washburn Marina and Lake Lure Adventure Co. Several area restaurants are featuring special holiday menus, BBQ buffets and takeout items for your own picnic. There are also still a few rooms available if you want to stay overnight.
