Hickory Nut Gorge Outreach Presents the Lake Lure Arts and Crafts Festival held in beautiful downtown Lake Lure, NC across from the beach. Our Arts and Crafts Festivals have been a Lake Lure North Carolina tradition since the 1980’s. Held twice a year in May (Spring) and October (Autumn) our festivals accept only artisans who sell their own hand-made creations at the festivals.
These festivals celebrate the rich tradition of hand-made, Appalachian arts and crafts and feature over 100 artists and crafters who personally exhibit and sell their hand-made works to the public at this event. Quite a few artisans demonstrate their artistic talents and crafting skills by creating new works at the event.
Enjoy fun for the whole family! Great food and snacks, wonderful local entertainment, a creek-side picnic area, and family fun.
This is an event you won’t want to miss! These festivals are held in the picturesque mountain-lake resort backdrop of Lake Lure, NC … across from the town beach adjacent to the historic Lake Lure Inn & Spa in a park-square setting.
The Lake Lure Arts & Crafts Festival hosts continuous live entertainment throughout the event. You’ll enjoy a wonderful variety of local talent that will entertain you with both music and dancing performances.
