Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC) at Tryon Resort is one of the world’s premier equestrian lifestyle destinations. And, with on-site shops, dining, entertainment, and plans for more, non-equestrian visitors are equally marveled by the Tryon Resort experience. This world-class facility opened in June 2014 with sanctioned horse shows and initial supporting amenities including 10 riding arenas, 850 permanent stalls, a covered riding facility, and fitness center.
Saturday Night Lights
From carnival-style entertainment to Carolina-inspired festivals, TIEC is western North Carolina’s hub for premier family-friendly entertainment. On Grand Prix competition nights, attendees can enjoy TIEC’s “Saturday Night Lights” featuring free activities like face painting, airbrush tattoos, busker performances, live bands, and rides on a hand-painted Venetian carousel. In addition to the on-site restaurants, “Saturday Night Lights” attendees can buy carnival treats from vendor carts like lemonade, popcorn, cotton candy, wood-fired pizza, and roasted corn. And, TIEC admission and parking area free.
Restaurants & Dining
Food and restaurant options are as varied and bountiful at TIEC as the entertainment. Choose between Roger’s Diner, a 50’s-inspired diner serving up burgers, shakes, salads, breakfast all day and more. Or, Legends Grille providing a first-class dining experience without the hassle of a strict dress code. Dishes are prepared using the freshest ingredients and presented with casual elegance.
Get your sushi fix at Blue Ginger Sushi & Noodles where the freshest seafood and ingredients are delicately handcrafted into edible works of art. Mane St. Coffee serves fresh-brewed Larry’s Coffee beverages and a variety of delicious pastries and baked goods. The Siesta Cantina offers quick, made-to-order Mexican favorites and Campagna Italian Cuisine for Italian fare.
Offsite dining is available at the Lodge on Lake Lure’s Tree Tops Restaurant. All restaurants are open year-round.
